Quick Trick For Getting Into State PERMANENTLY.

On Getting Into State..

Every day of your life, things are going to happen that make you feel good and things are going to happen that make you feel bad.

Shit just happens.

It’s where you choose to focus that determines which state you’ll be in during your day.

If you choose to focus on all the bills you have to pay and the boring meeting you have at 3pm, you’re not going to be in a great state.

If you choose to focus on how much of a difference you’re able to make to peoples lives and how lucky you are to be able to walk to work without fearing for you life, your state is going to be very different.

The question you have to ask yourself is:

How you feel during the day is all up to you. And ONLY you. And getting into state is simply a choice you can make.

Sure, negative stuff is going to happen but it’s how you choose to frame it and where you direct your focus that determines how you feel.

Remembering to direct your focus to the most empowering stuff all the time can be difficult though. I know this because I struggled with it for a long time.

In fact, I still sometimes struggle with it.

Keep in mind the state you’re in around women (and your ability to get into that state) is just a small part of a bigger picture, which is your ability to focus your mind (and keep it focused) in things and contexts which are most conducive to a positive state.

So, some days I’d remember to focus on all the great things in my world and I’d run around like I was untouchable.

Other days, I’d focus on all the negative things and I’d spend the day feeling like shit.

Because of this, I decided to set some alarms in my phone to help me direct my focus, everyday, to what was going to put me in the most empowering state.

A couple of people have asked me about them so I thought I’d share them here.

I have 5 alarms that go off every day at half hour intervals that help me direct my focus. They are:

11am :”You could die, right now. This very moment could be your last. And when you do, will any of the bullshit matter?”

11:30am: “What is your purpose? What do you want?”

12pm: “What do you have to be grateful for?”

12:30pm: “Happiness is a choice you make.”

1pm: “If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, how would you live today? How would you love today?”

130pm: “Steven has chlamydia”.

Well, maybe not that last one. But you get the point.

These alarms help me let go of all the noise in my head and focus on what’s really important.

If you sometimes find yourself in a state that’s not helping you achieve your goals then have a look at what you’re focusing on. Have a look what you’re thinking about in your day and ask yourself:

If he answer is no, reframe the issue that’s putting you in that state and then choose a new set of things to focus on.

I highly recommend starting your day with some phone reminders to help you get into state.

These alarms have an enormous impact on my life. I don’t read them every day but when I’m in an unproductive state, they provide a massive relief to my world.

So, what state do you want to be in today?
